Due to continued growth, we are recruiting a Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established food manufacturing business based in Strabane. This is an excellent opportunity for an electrically biased engineer looking to join a fast-paced production environment where reliability, quality and continuous improvement are key priorities.
Working as part of the engineering team, you will be responsible for:
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance on production machinery and site equipment.
- Responding quickly and effectively to electrical and mechanical breakdowns.
- Fault finding on PLC-controlled machinery and automation systems.
- Reading and interpreting electrical drawings and schematics.
- Diagnosing faults using electrical testing equipment.
- Maintaining conveyors, motors, sensors, drives, control panels and production equipment.
Shift Options Available: Permanent Evening Shift, Continental Shift Pattern

About You:
- Time-served Electrical Maintenance Engineer or equivalent qualification.
- Experience within a food manufacturing, FMCG or production environment.
- Strong PLC fault-finding experience.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
- Experience carrying out both preventative and reactive maintenance.
- Strong electrical fault-finding skills.
