Location: Based in Ireland, with travel to project sites across Ireland

The Role

Our client is currently seeking an experienced Site Agent / Supervisor to join their delivery team. This role will support the successful delivery of projects across all aspects of the business from a construction perspective. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing site activities in line with agreed programmes and budget frameworks, while maintaining a strong focus on Health & Safety, compliance, reporting, and documentation. This is a key site-based leadership role, offering the opportunity to work across varied projects nationwide.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and deliver multiple projects across urban and rural locations throughout Ireland
  • Liaise with clients and client representatives to support project delivery and build strong relationships
  • Review construction drawings in detail and amend designs in line with feedback
  • Provide strong on-site leadership and direction to project teams
  • Coordinate with Contracts Managers and Site Agents to manage resources and workloads
  • Monitor site progress to ensure works are completed on time and within budget
  • Plan and oversee material deliveries and resolve discrepancies where required
  • Ensure all works comply with client requirements, safety legislation, and legal standards
  • Oversee traffic management and all Health & Safety activities on site
  • Liaise with Local Authorities regarding pre- and post-installation inspections
  • Coordinate programming and scheduling with internal workflow teams
  • Act as first point of contact for clients, the public, and subcontractors
  • Professionally manage customer complaints and resolve issues efficiently
  • Carry out quality control inspections and ensure standards are maintained
  • Complete administrative and reporting tasks accurately and on time
  • Mentor junior site team members and identify training requirements
  • Support continuous improvement and innovation in site delivery processes

What We're Looking For

  • Full clean driving licence (essential)
  • Qualification in Engineering or equivalent (desirable)
  • Experience in civils, drainage, or utilities (water & electricity)
  • Ability to read and interpret construction designs
  • Strong understanding of site activities and managing multiple teams
  • Commercial awareness of project costs and budgets
  • Good working knowledge of HSQE requirements and ground support systems
  • Strong IT and computer literacy
  • Confident, motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
  • Excellent time management, communication, and customer service skills
  • High levels of integrity, professionalism, and respect for confidentiality
