Registered Manager Salary: £49,300.00 Employment: 38-hour contract (flexible hours + sleepovers) Location: Carryduff An excellent Registered Manager role for a skilled social worker wanting to take charge of a childrens residential service, bringing leadership and invaluable experience to provide a system of care that focuses on bringing stability and nurturing environment that can support positive outcomes for children and young people. Roles and responsibilities include: Lead and support a positive team culture, ensuring appropriate staffing levels and effective rota management. Always safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people. Lead, coach, supervise and develop staff through inductions, supervision, appraisals and training. Oversee care planning, risk assessments, behaviour support plans and incident management processes. Monitor records, reports and compliance documentation to ensure regulatory standards are met. Participate in multi-agency meetings and work collaboratively with families, social workers, education and healthcare professionals. Support recruitment, staff performance management and continuous professional development. Ensure the home operates in line with company policies, safeguarding procedures and regulatory requirements. Promote positive outcomes for young people, supporting their education, health, independence, emotional wellbeing and family relationships. Contribute to maintaining a safe, nurturing and structured home environment. Participate in the on-call rota and provide leadership during incidents, emergencies and crisis situations. Drive continuous improvement, reflective practice and high standards of care across the service. What were looking for A minimum 2 years' experience working with children and young people. A Qualification in Social Work Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management or a relevant subject. Experience in Managing and Leading a team. Full driving license. Full rights to work in the UK.
