12-Month Fixed Term Contract
Location: Newry
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm (flexible working available)

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update employee data on the HRTime system (time and attendance)
- Manage absences including holidays, sickness, and maternity leave
- Produce reports on hours worked, overtime, and shift patterns
- Liaise with payroll processors and internal payroll team
- Set up and manage BACS payments and third-party payments
- Administer employee benefits and salary sacrifice schemes (e.g. Cycle to Work, Tech Scheme)
- Process statutory payments including company sick pay and maternity/paternity pay
- Review weekly and monthly payroll files prior to approval
- Conduct weekly National Minimum Wage checks
- Maintain accurate payroll and HR system records
- Work closely with HR and Finance teams on payroll-related matters
- Respond to employee payroll queries in a timely manner
- Support with ad hoc duties as required
Essential Criteria:
- GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths and English, or relevant payroll/finance qualification (e.g. CIPP Certificate, AAT Level 2/3)
- Proven experience in payroll administration
- Experience processing weekly and/or monthly payroll
- Knowledge of statutory payments and pension auto-enrolment
- Proficiency in payroll systems and Microsoft Excel
- Strong understanding of UK payroll legislation and HMRC requirements
