Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of projects, our client is seeking a motivated QS / Estimator to join their team. This is a permanent position within a specialist aluminium glazing contractor, offering an excellent opportunity to play a key role in a growing, family-run business known for its high standards, quality delivery, and strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full tendering process from initial enquiry through to completion
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for curtain walling, windows, and doors using Logikal
- Review architectural drawings and specifications to produce accurate proposals and Bills of Quantities (BOQs)
- Collaborate with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth project handovers
- Assist with raising and issuing Purchase Orders
- Produce and manage project budgets
- Support the raising and close-out of variations
- Develop and manage your own sales pipeline
- Contribute to business development and company growth initiatives
Candidate Requirements
- Experience estimating aluminium curtain walling, doors, windows, and/or façades (desirable but not essential)
- Strong working knowledge of Logikal and Microsoft Office
- Excellent ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings
- Proactive approach to client engagement and sales follow-up
- Strong communication skills with a collaborative mindset
- Understanding of fabrication, workshop processes, and on-site installation
- Experience with CAD software (desirable but not essential)
- Proven ability or exposure to developing and winning new business within construction or façades
