Join one of the UK's leading health assessment providers as a Functional Specialist, where you'll use your clinical expertise to assess how health conditions impact daily living and provide clear, evidence-based reports to support fair outcomes.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Carry out up to five assessments per day (telephone or face-to-face)
- Produce structured clinical reports - no treatment, prescribing, or diagnosis involved
- Assess individuals with a variety of physical, mental, and cognitive conditions
- Hybrid working - home-based with regular days at your nearest assessment centre
- Full training and mentoring provided - no prior assessment experience required
Starting salary: £39,500 with up to 10% performance bonus (OTE £44,450+)
What You'll Need:
- Registered Nurse (RGN, RMN, RNLD), Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist or Paramedic
- NMC or HCPC registration (no restrictions)
- Minimum 12 months post-registration experience
- Excellent communication, empathy, and IT skills
- Ability to travel to your local assessment centre when required
