A reputable high-end specialist joinery manufacturer is seeking an experienced Bench Joiner to join their skilled production team. This is an excellent opportunity for a joiner with strong bench-based experience to work on specialist and bespoke joinery projects, producing high-quality finished products to exacting standards. You will be part of an experienced and supportive team, with the chance to further develop your craftsmanship while working in a professional manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out high-end bench joinery work, with a strong focus on quality and attention to detail.
- Manufacture specialist and bespoke joinery items using a range of materials.
- Read, understand, and work accurately from manufacturing and technical drawings.
- Demonstrate safe and competent use of bench tools, machinery, and equipment.
- Maintain tools and equipment in a safe and serviceable condition.
- Work within the company’s internal quality systems, ensuring standards are met through to final product.
- Take instruction from the Production Manager and complete tasks efficiently and professionally.
- Use initiative and contribute to continuous improvement within the workshop.
- Maintain good housekeeping and a safe, organised work environment.
- Adhere strictly to Health & Safety policies and procedures.
Essential Criteria
- Proven experience as a Bench Joiner.
- High level of craftsmanship and attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret technical/manufacturing drawings.
- Strong understanding of workshop Health & Safety practices.
- Reliable, motivated, and able to work as part of a team.
