The Role:
- Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on HGVs
- Diagnose faults and complete mechanical and electrical repairs
- Conduct inspections and ensure vehicles meet safety standards
- Complete routine maintenance and preventative servicing
- Maintain accurate job records and reports
- Work efficiently to minimise vehicle downtime
- Follow all health and safety procedures
The Requirements:
- Experience as an HGV Mechanic, HGV Technician, or Heavy Vehicle Mechanic
- Strong mechanical skills with basic electrical knowledge
- Experience working on commercial vehicles or heavy plant
- Relevant qualifications (NVQ/City & Guilds or equivalent desirable)
