An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Head of Maintenance to oversee maintenance operations across approximately 40 fast food retail sites throughout Northern Ireland. This role is ideal for someone with strong leadership, facilities, and maintenance management experience who can effectively manage engineers, contractors, budgets, and preventative maintenance programmes across a multi-site operation.

The Role:

  • Manage maintenance operations across multiple fast food retail sites
  • Lead and organise the maintenance team across Northern Ireland
  • Control maintenance budgets and authorise expenditure
  • Coordinate and manage external contractors and service providers
  • Oversee preventative maintenance schedules to minimise downtime
  • Ensure maintenance works are completed safely, efficiently, and on time
  • Support store operations with reactive and planned maintenance issues
  • Manage logistics, scheduling, and allocation of maintenance resources
  • Monitor contractor performance and standards on-site
  • Drive continuous improvement across maintenance operations

The Requirements:

  • Experience as a Head of Maintenance, Maintenance Manager, or Facilities Manager
  • Strong background managing multi-site maintenance operations
  • Experience controlling budgets and maintenance spend
  • Proven leadership and team management experience
  • Strong contractor and supplier management skills
  • Experience implementing preventative maintenance programmes
  • Good organisational and problem-solving ability
  • Full UK driving licence
