We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing manufacturing business seeking an Accounts Technician to join its finance team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful organisation offering a varied role with exposure across all aspects of the finance function.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts, including journals, reconciliations, and analysis.
  • Processing weekly and monthly payroll.
  • Managing bank reconciliations, payments, and cash flow forecasting.
  • Overseeing accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
  • Preparing VAT returns and other statutory submissions.
  • Producing financial reports and supporting the annual audit process.

Criteria

  • AAT/ATI qualified or part-qualified ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
  • Previous experience within an accounts or finance role.
  • Experience using Sage payroll and accounting systems.
  • Strong Excel and IT skills.
  • Manufacturing experience would be advantageous.
