Reactive Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with one of Northern Irelands largest wholesale distributors to recruit a Financial Controller.
This is a key leadership role for an experienced finance professional who can maintain financial control, provide strategic insight, and support the continued growth and operational efficiency of the business.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily financial operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency and compliance.
- Lead month-end and year-end reporting, delivering accurate financial statements.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
- Provide commercial and financial guidance to senior leadership and operational teams.
- Manage cashflow, working capital, and treasury functions.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, tax filings and external audits.
- Support strategic projects, investments appraisals and business case development.
The Requirements:
- Experience as a Financial Controller or similar senior finance role.
- Excellent commercial acumen.
- Experience in fast paced, high pressure environments and working to tight deadlines.
Desirable:
- Partially Qualified in CIMA / ACCA / ACA or equivalent.
- Experience in FMCG.
