About The Role

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Carer or Care Team Leader looking to join a supportive organisation that values high-quality, person-centred care and offers genuine career progression.

As a Care Team Leader, you will play a key role in supporting residents to live safely, comfortably, and independently while leading and inspiring a team of care staff to deliver exceptional standards of care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, supervise, and support the care team on shift.
  • Deliver and promote high-quality, person-centred care.
  • Develop, implement, and review individual care plans.
  • Promote residents’ independence, dignity, and choice.
  • Take responsibility for the residential unit in the absence of the senior manager.
  • Ensure safe staffing levels and support the day-to-day running of the home.
  • Work collaboratively with nurses, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain accurate care records and ensure compliance with care standards.

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 3 in Adult Social Care (essential).
  • Previous experience as a Team Leader, Senior Carer, or an experienced Care Assistant ready to progress.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • A caring, compassionate, and professional approach.
  • Passion for delivering outstanding person-centred care.
