About The Role

Resolve Recruitment Services are recruiting Residential Childcare Workers on behalf of a growing childcare provider in Doncaster.

This is an excellent opportunity for compassionate and dedicated individuals who are passionate about supporting children and young people within a residential care setting.

You will play a key role in creating a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment where children can develop, thrive, and achieve positive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day‑to‑day care and support to children and young people in a residential setting.
  • Promote the safety, wellbeing, and development of children in your care.
  • Build positive and trusting relationships with young people.
  • Support children with daily routines, education, social activities, and life skills development.
  • Implement care plans and support strategies tailored to individual needs.
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation.
  • Encourage positive behaviour and emotional development.
  • Work closely with colleagues and external professionals to ensure high standards of care.
  • Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and company policies at all times.

Requirements

  • Previous experience working with children and young people is desirable.
  • Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) is desirable.
  • Willingness to work towards a Level 3 qualification within the required timeframe.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Compassionate, resilient, and child‑focused approach.
  • Ability to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
  • Full UK driving licence is desirable.
