Forklift / Crane Warehouse Picker Bilston 12.71 per hour + £1.28 shift allowance (£13.99 per hour total) 37.5 hours per week We are currently recruiting for an experienced Forklift / Crane Warehouse Picker to join our client's team. The successful candidate will be responsible for picking, moving and handling materials safely and efficiently within a warehouse or manufacturing environment, using both forklift trucks and cranes as required. Candidates must hold valid forklift and crane licences and be confident working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of health and safety. Key Responsibilities Operate forklift trucks safely to move, load and unload materials. Operate cranes to lift, move and position goods safely and accurately. Pick and prepare materials and orders in line with operational requirements. Ensure materials are handled, stored and transported correctly. Carry out routine equipment checks and report any faults or defects. Follow all health and safety procedures and safe lifting practices. Maintain a clean, tidy and organised working environment. Work effectively as part of a team to meet daily operational targets. Essential Requirements Valid forklift truck licence. Valid crane operator licence or relevant crane operating certification accepted by the employer. Previous experience operating both forklifts and cranes. Good understanding of warehouse health and safety procedures. Ability to work accurately and safely in a busy environment. Reliable, punctual and willing to work rotating shifts. Working Hours This is a full-time position offering 37.5 hours per week on a weekly rotating shift pattern: Early shift: 6:00am–1:30pm Late shift: 1:30pm–9:00pm Candidates must be available to work both shifts on a rotating weekly basis.
