We are looking for a reliable and proactive Night Shift Office Administrator/yard operative to join our client’s family run, growing business based in Tamworth. This role is ideal for someone who can work independently, stay organised during busy periods, and turn their hand to practical tasks when the office is quieter.
Key responsibilities:
- Office & Operations Administration
- Acting as the main point of contact for night-shift drivers.
- Managing driver queries, issues, and any operational problems that arise.
- Ensuring all drivers are signed in, in the correct locations, and following the schedule.
- Updating internal systems and logs to ensure accurate records.
- Communicating any urgent issues to the relevant departments.
- Assisting with basic vehicle upkeep such as:
- Cleaning trucks internally/externally
- Changing bulbs and simple maintenance tasks
- Reporting any vehicle defects or safety concerns.
- Ensuring the yard and vehicle areas remain clean, safe, and organised.
