Our client is seeking a Quality Inspector / Trainee Quality Inspector to join their manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with quality inspection experience or someone looking to develop a career within quality, in a production environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring that products meet the required quality standards throughout the manufacturing process, from incoming materials through to finished goods.

What’s on offer:

  • Monday - Thursday: 7:00am - 4:00pm
  • Friday: 6:00am - 3:00pm
  • £14.00 - £14.50 per hour (Salary is negotiable and will be dependent on experience and relevant skills.)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect raw materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
  • Carry out dimensional inspections using a range of measuring equipment including calipers, micrometers, gauges, and Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM).
  • Perform visual and functional inspections to identify defects, non-conformances, or quality concerns.
  • Accurately complete and maintain inspection reports and quality documentation.
  • Record and report non-conformances (NCRs) in line with company procedures.
  • Maintain quality records, traceability documentation, and inspection logs.
