Our client is a well-established organisation currently seeking an experienced Procurement Coordinator / Buyer to join their growing team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting procurement operations, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring purchasing processes run efficiently to support wider business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Negotiate pricing and commercial terms with suppliers
  • Source and evaluate new suppliers where required
  • Work with internal teams to forecast purchasing requirements
  • Raise purchase orders and monitor supplier delivery schedules
  • Communicate supply risks and opportunities to the wider business
  • Support logistics planning to help reduce operational costs
  • Maintain accurate costing and transactional data within the ERP system
  • Complete supplier onboarding and due diligence checks
  • Assist with month-end purchasing administration
  • Ensure purchasing records are maintained accurately and efficiently

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Previous experience within a procurement, purchasing, or buying role
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload effectively
  • High attention to detail and administrative accuracy
  • Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
  • Experience using ERP systems is desirable
  • Manufacturing or industrial sector experience would be advantageous
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
  • Self-motivated with a proactive and solutions-focused approach

This role may require occasional travel between sites and supplier locations. Flexibility to work additional hours when required is expected.
