We’re currently supporting a well-established manufacturing business in Bilston with the recruitment of an experienced Tube Laser Operator. This is a great opportunity to join a growing company, with the potential to secure a permanent position following a successful temporary period.
The Role
- Setting and operating a BLM LT722 tube laser machine
- Loading and unloading materials using an overhead crane
- Monitoring production output to ensure targets and quality standards are achieved
- Carrying out visual inspections of finished components
- Reading and working from engineering drawings
- Performing routine machine checks and basic maintenance
- Following all health & safety procedures on site
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience operating laser cutting machinery (tube laser experience highly desirable)
- Familiarity with BLM / Adige machines, ideally LT722
- Valid overhead crane licence (in-date or in-house accepted)
- Ability to work independently on a night shift pattern
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
