We are currently working with our well-established client based in Bilston who are seeking a Trainee Internal Sales Representative to join their growing sales team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in sales. Full training will be provided, and the successful candidate will be supported in developing the skills and knowledge required to progress within the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with customer enquiries and responding in a timely and professional manner
- Supporting the sales team in obtaining pricing from suppliers and partners
- Learning to prepare and send quotations to customers
- Entering orders onto the system and issuing order acknowledgements
- Communicating with external partners and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing
- Assisting with raising works orders and picking notes
- Supporting with credit note processing where required
- Helping to manage and maintain customer accounts
- Building strong working relationships with customers and colleagues
- Supporting the wider sales team and other departments
- Learning how to identify and develop new business opportunities
The successful candidate will have:
- Previous experience in a customer service, administration, or sales support role is desirable but not essential
- An interest in sales and willingness to learn about the industry
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic IT skills and willingness to learn internal systems
- Positive attitude with a proactive and team-oriented approach
