The Opportunity:
Due to continued growth, Reacta Healthcare are now looking to recruit a Supply Chain Planner.
This role is responsible for developing and maintaining production and materials plans, ensuring material availability, monitoring inventory, and coordinating with purchasing, warehouse, quality, and manufacturing teams to deliver the production schedule in a compliant and efficient manner.
Key Accountabilities
- Create, maintain, and communicate short- and medium-term production plans based on customer demand, inventory levels, material availability, and manufacturing capacity.
- Monitor stock levels, safety stock, shortages, and excess inventory
- Liaise with other departments to align the production plan with operational priorities and GMP requirements.
- Track schedule adherence and respond to changes in demand
- Maintain accurate and auditable planning data, master data, and planning records within company systems.
- Identify and escalate capacity constraints, material risks, and service issues that may impact OTIF delivery or business continuity.
- Support new product introduction, phase-in / phase-out activity, and continuous improvement initiatives across planning and supply chain processes.
- Produce planning reports, KPIs, and analysis to support decision-making and operational review.
Essential Skills, Qualifications and Experience
- Experience in production planning, supply planning, materials planning, or scheduling within a manufacturing or regulated environment.
- Working knowledge of MRP / ERP systems and the ability to manage planning data accurately.
- Strong understanding of inventory control, material flow, supplier lead times, and capacity constraints.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess risk and make practical recommendations.
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills and confidence working with data, reports, and planning tools.
- Formal qualification in supply chain, planning, operations, or a related discipline
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage changing priorities.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- A proactive and collaborative approach, with the confidence to escalate issues when required.
- Commitment to Health, Safety, Quality, and Compliance standards.
Desirable Skills and Experience
- Experience within pharmaceutical, healthcare, food, or other GMP / regulated manufacturing environments.
- Knowledge of demand planning, capacity planning, or Sales and Operations Planning processes.
- Experience supporting new product introductions, change controls, or supply chain improvement projects.
- Continuous improvement experience, including process optimisation and KPI development.
