Salary: £25,000 - £26,000

The Opportunity:
Reacta Healthcare have an exciting opportunity for a Laboratory Technician to join the Quality Control team on a permanent basis. Reacta Healthcare is expanding its GMP laboratory capabilities at its site in Deeside. This role provides an opportunity to work within the laboratories.
Key Accountabilities
- Maintain adequate stocks of laboratory standards, chemicals, consumables etc., for the purpose of quality control inspection, sampling, and testing.
- Manage the disposal of laboratory waste (samples, chemicals, and solvents).
- Carry out the cleaning of glassware and general laboratory good housekeeping activities.
- Carry out equipment checks as necessary to ensure that equipment is suitable for use.
- Support maintenance of equipment calibration schedules.
- Support with administration activities where required.
Essential Skills, Qualifications and Experience
To be successful in this role, applicants need to have the following essential skills and experience:
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
- Ability to work under minimal supervision.
- Working knowledge of Health and Safety and COSHH
- Mathematical competency (Multiplication, Division, Percentage Calculations)
Preferable Qualifications and Experience
- Educated to secondary level or vocational qualifications in a relevant discipline
- Previous laboratory and GMP experience
