Our client based in South Kent requires an I.T. Development Manager to lead and support a small team. Reporting to the Head of I.T., the role will involve:
- Assisting in the day-to-day application support, configuration and customisation of the corporate ERP system
- Working on I.T. projects and assisting with the I.T. strategy
- Day-to-day management of the I.T. development team
- Scoping IT work and assessing resource and cost commitments
- Working closely with the IT Support and Infrastructure teams to achieve departmental objectives
- Communicating with the whole business on IT matters
- Producing IT documentation e.g. procedures
- Managing assigned projects to ensure the desired result is achieved
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 years’ experience within a similar role, including people management
- Hands-on technical experience of software development or database administration
- Experience with an ERP system preferably IFS Applications (desirable)
- Ability to demonstrate an understanding of: Application Support, Business Intelligence, Agile Development Methodology and Cyber Security
- Experience of IT legislation and regulation e.g. GDPR
- Full, clean driving licence with use of own vehicle
Salary is dependent upon skills and experience plus pension, private healthcare and discretionary bonus scheme.
