Our established Client based in Swale is currently seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer with knowledge of variable speed drives to join the team.
Duties
- Installation of variable speed drives
- Fault finding with industrial control systems mainly for 3 phase motor starters including star/delta, soft starts and variable speed drives
- Removal/replacement of motor starters and control gear
- Carry out modification work to an existing control panel
- Follow instructions / directions from Supervisors and Department Manager
- Liaise with customers about their work requirements and resolve problems
Skills / Attributes
- The ideal candidate will have previous experience working on such equipment through a qualification scheme, time served apprenticeship or similar
- Working as an individual or part of a team on installation works
- To have passed 17th Edition IEE wiring regulations 2391 or 2394/2395 qualifications would be an advantage
Working Monday – Friday 8am – 4.30pm paying £30,275 per annum + benefits and overtime (call out basis).
