Our established client based in Rainham requires an Accounts & Payroll Clerk to join their team. Suitable candidates will have the following skills, experience and attributes:
- Part qualified (company will provide support towards AAT qualifications)
- Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
- GCSE in Maths & English grade C or above (or equivalents)
- Experience of using Pegasus Opera accounting software
- Experienced in Microsoft Excel
- Experienced in collating payroll data and liaising with external bureau
- Driving licence
The role will involve collating payroll data for permanent staff and agency staff. The role will also involve other functions such as Sales Ledger, Purchase Ledger and banking as well as ensuring holidays are calculated correctly and managed.
Working hours are Monday – Thursday 8:30am – 5pm, Friday 9am – 3pm or Monday – Thursday 9am – 5:30pm, Friday 9am – 3pm (37.5 hrs per week). 25 days holiday + bank holidays.
