Production Operative in Rochester

Overview

Our client is seeking a Bench Assembler. This role is offered as a temp to perm position.

Responsibilities

• Mechanical assembly using hand tools to measure and cut metal pipes.
• Packing and general housekeeping of the production area.
• Work within a small production team on a production line assembling equipment. No experience of assembling is required, but use of hand tools is desirable (saws, pliers, crimping).

Location: Rochester – Laker Road

Hours

Hours: 40 per week — 8:00am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday

Rate

Rate: starting rate up to £12.21 ph PAYE, weekly pay

Requirements

• Having own STC boots or shoes is essential
• Excellent hand-to-eye coordination
• Physically fit as the job is standing all day with some heavy lifting involved
• Due to location, candidates will need their own transport or live within a 20 minute walk of Laker Road, Rochester
