Our established client is seeking an experienced Depot Manager (commercial vehicles), the role is permanent, full time – no hybrid working available.
Location: Reading
Salary: Competitive, paid monthly – disclosed on initial phone call
Hours: 42.5 hours per week
Reports to: General Manager

As Depot Manager you will lead and manage the day-to-day aftersales operations of the depot, ensuring the efficient, compliant, and cost-effective running of all workshop activities. The role requires a strong focus on customer service, health and safety, people management, and maximizing profitability.
Depot Manager Leadership & Management
- Lead, motivate, and develop the service, parts, and administrative teams to deliver excellent performance and customer satisfaction.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and address training needs and identify and implement a training plan for all depot staff.
- Selection and recruitment of staff in all departments.
- Drive a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Manage staffing levels, recruitment, and rota planning.
