Our Client based in Gillingham is seeking Production Operatives

Location

Location: Gillingham, Kent

Shifts

Rotating shifts:

  • Week one — 6am–2pm; Month? Thurs 6am–1pm Fri
  • Week two — 2pm–10pm; Monday–Thursday and 1pm–9pm on Friday

Static shifts are NOT available

Pay and Term

Weekly pay, PAYE via React Recruitment Ltd

Long-term temporary work available. Priority will be given to candidates with experience of assembling parts or having any electronics skills – wiring, soldering, crimping, etc.

There will be an assessment day on Tuesday 23 September, paid at £12.21 ph; if successful, candidates will then move to rotating shift work.

Responsibilities

  • Product assembly – small parts – wiring, crimping, soldering
  • Machine operating (training will be given)
  • Product quality checking
  • Product labelling

This job role will involve standing for long periods on the production line. Production Assembly Operative candidates must be happy to use hand tools and equipment to manufacture small parts (electronic assembly).

Selection and Requirements

Selection will be made after attending an induction day where your skills and suitability for training will be assessed, this includes having good dexterity and hand–eye coordination.

You will also be asked to undertake an online colour blindness test prior to your CV being submitted / going for the assessment.
