We have an exciting newly created role available – National Account Executive. The role will suit candidates with 1-3 years’ experience of sales/BD at regional or national account level. Location: Near Gillingham, Kent – after training hybrid working available Salary: from from £35,000 pa depending on sales experience + annual bonus Hours: 8.30am to 5.00pm, Monday to Thursday 9am to 3pm on Friday Benefits: * Year one – up to 8% performance and business-related bonus (not guaranteed) * 5 weeks holiday per year, plus BH * Pension scheme of up to 5% company contribution * Private Healthcare Scheme * Employee Assistant Healthcare. The National Account Executive will ideally have the following skills/experience: * 1-3 years’ work experience within a commercial, sales or FMCG related role * A Level or equivalent, ideally degree educated * Good written and verbal communication skills, with strong numerical skills, commercially astute * UK driving license essential * Strong organisational skills, excellent attention to detail * Experience with SAP beneficial, competent in MS Word, Excel and Outlook etc * Ability to work to exceptionally tight deadlines * Excellent communication and rapport building skills * Ability to stay focused in time critical periods, excellent time management skills * Self-motivated, confident and enthusiastic * Able to travel UK wide About the role – National Account Executive You will become part of an established sales team including 3 sales support staff. Working for the market leader in their field predominantly working within the grocery channel. You will be given responsibility for your own national accounts and support the Snr National Account Manager and Sales Director with larger accounts. Tasked and targeted to develop relationships with existing clients, to grow sales and improve margins, facilitate new business opportunities etc Attend client meetings, presenting prepared presentations, taking notes and preparing follow ups
