Our client based near Gillingham is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist – ideally milling – Haas machines, who will spend part of the week working as an Inspector.
Salary: Top rates paid depending on skill level + overtime
Hours: Hours to suit as the company run 24 hours. Basic Hours: 40 pw
This will be a dual role working as Inspector on Monday and Friday and machining at all other times. The starting rate is negotiable depending on your skill level – anyone interested in the role may be offered a day’s trial so you can meet the team and see the company at work. The company work a standard 40 hour week but do offer regular overtime (subject to workload).
- CNC Machinist/Inspector: Capable of setting and operation CNC machine centres - 5 axis (Haas)
- Offline programming experience an advantage
- Programming Haas CNC machinery, Mastercam software – desirable
- Aerospace industry experience would be ideal
- Able to work in a variety of materials - aluminium, stainless steel, titanium etc
- The work is varied - prototypes, one off production and small batch work.
