Our client is seeking a Bench Assembler. This role is offered as a temp to perm position. The role involves mechanical assembly using hand tools to measure and cut metal pipes, packing, and general housekeeping of the production area.
Location: Rochester Laker Road
Hours: 40hrs per week - 8am to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday
Rate: 12.71 ph PAYE, weekly pay
Please note due to our client’s location candidates will need to have their own transport or live within a 20 minute walk of Laker Road, Rochester.
As Bench Assembler you will work within a small production team on a production line assembling equipment (no experience of assembling is required but use of hand tools is desirable such as saws, pliers, crimping).
Suitable Bench Assembler candidates will need to possess excellent hand to eye coordination and be physically fit as the job is standing all day with some heavy lifting involved. Having your own STC boots or shoes is essential.
