Our client is seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter. The role is permanent and paid monthly + overtime. Our client will also consider candidates looking for temporary or permanent-to-permanent roles. The role is currently static, assisting in the build of machinery within the factory, with potential opportunities to be involved in installation and maintenance work in the future.
Location: Sittingbourne
Salary: Up to £40K DOE + overtime paid at time and a half, 39-hour basic working week, 31 days leave including Bank holidays.

The Mechanical Assembly Fitter / Engineer role is to assist with the manufacture of the machinery. The role will ideally suit candidates with experience in machine building.
Mechanical Assembly Fitter / Engineer duties will include:
- Assisting with the building and commissioning of factory machinery
- Assembling, installing, and fitting mechanical components
Candidates must be able to:
- Read engineering drawings
- Possess a high standard of work
- Demonstrate good general hands-on mechanical skills such as drilling, cutting, and component assembly
- Understand basic control systems, including pneumatic and hydraulic systems
