An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Welder Fabricator to join a busy engineering team. This is a physically demanding role working across a busy operational engineering environment. You’ll be comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions and around heavy engineering equipment. Flexibility is essential, including participation in standby and emergency call-out rotas, with additional payments available.
Welder Fabricator Key Responsibilities
- Carry out fabrication and welding repairs on a wide range of plant and equipment.
- Perform welding using MMA, MMAW and GTAW techniques.
- Manufacture components and structures from engineering drawings.
- Complete planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs.
- Support the day-to-day operation of the mechanical workshop.
- Accurately complete maintenance records using an ERP system.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards.
