Our client is seeking a skilled Panel Wirer on a permanent full-time basis.
Salary: Up to £32,000 pa (the salary will be dependent on skills and experience) paid monthly.
Hours: 40-hour standard week 8/8.30am to 4.30/5pm, Monday to Friday.
Overtime: When required, paid at time and a half after 40 hours Monday to Friday.
Benefits include: 25 days paid holiday per annum plus bank holidays, extra days after long service.
Location: Near Maidstone.
The role of the Panel Wirer involves working as part of the production team building high-quality units for clients across the marine, vehicle, and off-grid sectors. This will include work from one-off assemblies to production line builds which will require a range of skills from the candidates who apply.
Suitable Panel Wirer personnel will possess the following skills and attributes:
- Assembly of electrical panels using hand tools
- Building cable looms, crimping, etc.
- Mechanical assembly of components from schematics
- Fault finding
- Test and Inspection
- Able to read and interpret schematic drawings
- Able to use workshop equipment and appropriate hand tools
- Calibration, test and programming of custom parts
- IT literate, good problem solver
