Our established client in Dover is looking for an Asbestos and H&S Supervisor.
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent
Location: Dover
Salary: up to £40K DOE

As Asbestos and H&S Supervisor, you will:
- Undertake the role of Appointed Person Asbestos on behalf of the company.
- Prepare and maintain the Asbestos Management Plan.
- Plan and manage asbestos surveys and inspections, maintain & update the Asbestos Register.
- Appoint Licensed Asbestos Removal Contractors to undertake removal and/or remedial works, and to undertake surveys and periodic inspections.
- Provide technical oversight and supervision of project works.
- Prepare training material and provide training to staff and stakeholders.
Undertake broader H&S activities:
- Promote H&S initiatives and act as an internal H&S Engineering advisor.
- Drive improvements in processes to reduce health & safety risks.
- Liaise with stakeholders to ensure engagement and commitment.
- Review RAMS, and undertake site inspections to identify opportunities.
- Recommend improvements to engineering tasks.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Technical, construction, building or trade background.
- Qualified in P405 Management of Asbestos in Buildings.
- Conversant with the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 and Health & Safety Guidance (HSG) publications applicable to Asbestos.
- Understanding of Risk Management and compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental standards, along with working knowledge of CDM 2015.
