Our client is seeking a Graphic Designer to cover maternity leave.
Salary: IRO £24,000 pa, paid monthly
Location: Aylesford, Kent – ideally own transport
Employment: Full-time, 12-14 months maternity leave contract
Starting ASAP, following successful interview
Hours: Monday to Thursday – 8.30 am to 5pm (3/4 hr break), Friday 9am to 4pm (1 hour break)
Office-based – no remote working
About the Graphic Designer Role
As a Junior Graphic Designer, you will work closely with the Sales Production Coordinator and Sales Office Team to produce customer-approved drawings and artwork for signage products. You’ll use proprietary software as well as Adobe Creative Suite to deliver accurate and visually engaging designs.
Graphic Designer skills/experience
- Must be proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
- Technically minded with the ability to work calmly under pressure.
- Self-sufficient, motivated, and able to work independently.
- Good communication and telephone manner.
- IT literate with 5 GCSEs (A–C) including Maths, English & ICT.
- Previous office or administrative experience (desirable).
