Our client is seeking a skilled Electromechanical Assembly Engineer - permanent full-time.
Salary: Up to £30,000 pa (the salary will be dependent on skills and experience) paid monthly.
Location: Near Maidstone, Kent.
Hours: 40 hour standard week 8/8.30am – 4.30/5pm, Monday to Friday.
Overtime: When required paid at time and a half after 40 hours.
Benefits include: 25 days paid holiday per annum + Bank Holidays, extra days after long service.
The role of Electromechanical Assembly Engineer is working as part of the production team building high quality units for clients across the marine, vehicle and off grid sectors. This will include work from one-off assemblies to production line builds which will require a range of skills from the candidates who apply.
Electromechanical Assembly Engineer skills/experience required:
- Previous experience in electromechanical or electrical assembly.
- The ability to read engineering drawings, wiring diagrams and technical documentation.
- Experience using hand tools, soldering equipment and crimping tools.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- A proactive attitude with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- A strong focus on health and safety.
- Applicants from backgrounds such as Lift Engineering, Electrical Assembly, Panel Wiring, Control Panel Build, Electrical Manufacturing or similar.
