We have an exciting and rare opening for a CNC Setter Operator - after training on days the role will work rotating shifts.
Salary: Competitive pa with discretionary annual bonus

Location: Hoo, Rochester, Kent (having your own transport is essential)
Hours: Whilst training working days 7.30am to 4.15, Monday to Thursday, 12.30 finish Friday. After training: Rotating shifts 6am to 2pm / 2pm to 10pm.
The role of CNC/Setter/Operator is responsible for setting and operating CNC lathes and machining centres using Fanuc and Mitsubishi programming systems - programming experience is NOT essential.
CNC/Setter/Operator duties:
- Responsible for machine changeovers and production runs based on machine utilisation and target completion dates and within set tolerances, following works orders, drawings and material specifications.
- Modify and create new programmes based on drawings and component demand on Mori Seiki, Tornado and Citizen machines.
- Responsible for producing components to the dimensions and special features as stated on the production drawing and in-line with strict tolerances.
- Using a range of measurement equipment including Vernier, micrometres, electronic height gauge, go and no-go gauges and SPC continuous monitoring system. Training given.
