Our client in Sittingbourne is seeking a Trainee CNC Miller; the role is permanent and paid monthly + OT when required. The role is available due to pending retirement, so full training will be given. The role would suit anyone with CNC machining knowledge or a desire to learn, or a background in another engineering discipline – machine operating etc.
Making parts for machine building/production.
- Location: Sittingbourne
- Salary: from £13.00 per hour, depending on skill level
- Hours: 7.30am to 4pm (Friday 3pm finish), 39 hour week
- OT paid at time and a half, when required
Training given on:
- 3 axis Haas machines
- CAD/CAM programming
- CNC Miller skills to be taught
- Heidenhain Controls
- Setting / Operating / Programming
- How to understand engineering drawings
- The use of cutting tools
The CNC Miller will learn how to work with a variety of materials - aluminium, stainless steel, titanium etc.
