Our manufacturing Client is seeking an experienced Production Inspector (electronics). The role is offered as a permanent, full-time position reporting to the Quality Manager.
Salary: £26,789.88 pa + OT when required – weekly pay (£13.21 ph)
Location: near Dartford
Hours: 8am to 5pm, Monday to Thursday; 8am to 1pm on Friday (39 hours per week)
Benefits: 25 days leave + BH, uniform, pension etc.
The Production Inspector role will be responsible for inspecting key component groups before product is released from the production area; ensuring feedback for all non-conforming product is passed to the Production Supervisor and Operators.
Skills/Experience Required:
- Preferred but not essential experience within electronic manufacturing environment – PCBs
- Understanding of IPC-A-610 or qualification preferred
- Able to identify components including resistor colour codes
- General standard of education required
Main Responsibilities:
- To perform full visual inspection of key areas in conventional build before release from the area
- To be aware of company health and safety requirements
