Our Client requires an experienced Maintenance Engineer (electrical bias), this is a permanent, full-time position.
Salary: competitive – discussed on initial phone call - monthly pay
Hours: Rotating shifts – Monday to Friday 6am to 2pm / 2pm to 10pm
Location: Hoo, Rochester
Benefits include:

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform both reactive and planned maintenance on all machinery
- Track, organise, and complete all PPM tasks
- Maintain accurate records within the MaintainX system
- Coordinate contractors and oversee machine servicing
- Manage spare parts inventory for all equipment
- Track and organise service and contractor documentation
- Conduct routine safety inspections to support a Safety-First culture
- Support Production teams when required
- Participate in an Out-of-Hours Call Out rota
- Contribute to continuous improvement projects
Requirements:
- Completed Electrical Engineering apprenticeship or similar with relevant experience
- ONC/BTEC, HNC/BTEC, or equivalent in Electrical Engineering
- 17th or 18th Edition qualification
- Proven experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Good working knowledge of Mitsubishi PLCs & HMIs
- Strong analytical, fault-finding, and problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of electric motors and pneumatics
- Basic mechanical skills
- Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgement
- Commitment to working within a safety-focused culture
Desirable skills/experience:
- Experience with Fanuc Robotics Programming
- Experience with Fanuc CNC Programming
- Experience with ABB Robotics Programming
- Experience with Siemens PLCs & HMIs
