Our established client in Dover is looking for an Asbestos and H&S Supervisor.
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent
Location: Dover
Salary: up to £40K DOE

As Asbestos and H&S Supervisor you will:
- Undertake the role of Appointed Person Asbestos on behalf of the company
- Prepare and maintain the Asbestos Management Plan
- Plan and manage asbestos surveys and inspections, maintain & update the Asbestos Register
- Appoint Licensed Asbestos Removal Contractors to undertake removal and/or remedial works, and to undertake surveys and periodic inspections
- Technical oversight and supervision of project works
- Prepare training material and provide training to staff and stakeholders
- Promote H&S initiatives and act as an internal H&S Engineering advisor
- Drive improvements in processes to reduce health & safety risks
- Liaise with stakeholders to ensure engagement and commitment
- Review RAMS, and undertake site inspections to identify opportunities
- Recommend improvements to engineering tasks
Skills and Qualifications:
- Technical, construction, building or trade background
- Qualified in P405 Management of Asbestos in Buildings
- Relevant H&S management qualification e.g. IOSH, NEBOSH, SMSTS or similar
- Conversant with the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 and Health & Safety Guidance (HSG) publications applicable to Asbestos
- Understanding of Risk Management and compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental standards, along with working knowledge of CDM 2015
