Our manufacturing Client on the outskirts of Dartford is seeking a Production Team Leader, the role is offered as a full time, permanent position.
Salary: £30,000 to £33,000 pa
Hours: 8am to 4pm, Monday to Friday – 37.5 hours per week
Holiday: 25 days + 8 BH
Location: Crayford
Production Team Leader – the role
- The Team Leader must be goal driven and ensure that all production expectations and demands are met and ensure customer needs are achieved in an on-time manner.
- Responsible for daily production and planning in their area.
- Organise production teams.
- Provide leadership and direction to the production teams.
- Good communication skills verbal and electronic (Email and Teams).
- Must be able to multitask.
- The Production Team Leader must be able to communicate with other department heads and must ensure that all policy and procedures are being adhered to.
- Must be hands on and be able to support team members.
Production Team Leader - EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- 3 years’ experience in managing a team in manufacturing – ideally electronics.
- Good level of education.
- The role is leading an experienced production team of approximately 40 staff in two departments – assembly and test.
