About the role

This role is essential in supporting the Content Strategy Manager and wider team by taking ownership of key executional and organisational tasks, helping to deliver content across social platforms. You’ll be the backbone of the team, ensuring that trend-driven, reactive, and planned content runs seamlessly. You’ll support briefing creative projects, contribute to content ideation and strategy, and assist with shoot development. By co-ordinating closely with the social and creative teams and handling day-to-day content operations, you’ll empower the team to focus on high-level strategy and creative ideation.

This is a hands-on role with plenty of opportunities to learn and grow. Whether it’s capturing engaging ideas, developing content shoots, or sharing creative insights, you’ll be a key player in bringing our content strategies to life. You’ll need to be motivated & positive; a can-do mentality is a must. We have a flat structure and believe no idea is a bad idea so there is lots of room to make your mark when it comes to content, ideation, process and structure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Owning the brand approach for content tactics, breaking down the key objectives, audience insights, category entry points and product occasions to hone in on what delivers on social.
  • Assist in briefing and managing creative projects from ideation through to execution.
  • Help adapt strategies to reflect emerging trends, platform updates and audience behaviour.
  • Be the team’s “eyes and ears” for emerging trends, platform updates and industry movements.
  • Share actionable trend insights with the content and social teams, ensuring we jump on creative opportunities at all times.
  • Work closely with the paid media team to analyse monthly insights, using data to inform content creation strategies.
  • Write content ideation briefs and strategy input to align with brand objectives.
  • Build engaging and scroll-stopping content that sits within the wider brand plan.
  • Take the learnings from performance reviews, content audits and brand lifts to bring these into the overarching content approach.
  • Provide clear, proactive communication across teams to ensure workflow efficiency and alignment.
  • Work closely with the social team to ensure all content meets platform best practices and resonates with audiences.
  • Analyse insights from the paid/performance teams to define content strategy.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Experience in a content strategy or similar role.
  • Confident with editing tools such as Capcut, Premiere Pro or similar.
  • Confident in filming & editing social native content to support reactive trends.
  • Strong knowledge of what’s trending on social, what works and what doesn’t!
  • A portfolio of ideas. We want to see your personality, not just clients.
  • Organisational mind for tackling ideas and owning it.
  • Adept at developing briefs and working on your own initiative, turning to your peers for support and guidance where needed.
  • Ability to work under pressure and deliver on time.
  • A hard worker who’s not afraid to pull your sleeves up and get on with it.
  • An excellent communicator able to work with people at all levels from different functions.
  • Dog friendly! There are a lot of furry friends roaming around our offices so you’ll need to be ok working with our four-legged friends!
