JUNIOR TRAFFIC MANAGER OVERVIEW
Position Overview:
An exciting opportunity for aJunior Traffic Manager to join the team at re:act.We are looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive person to join our fast-paced, high-energy team. This is not your average desk job—you’ll be hands-on, juggling multiple projects, and constantly adapting to changing priorities. Our Traffic team are the gatekeepers of the agency’s resources, managing expectations across client, production and creative teams to ensure efficient delivery while protecting creative integrity.
At re:act, we produce high-volume, culturally relevant content across various platforms like Tik-Tok and Instagram, so an understanding of how social-first content moves through concepting, design and delivery is key,
Reporting to the Creative Projects Lead, and supporting the Senior Traffic Manager, this entry level role is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day workload of our Design Department (in-house or freelance), ensure post-production of all our projects flows efficiently, blockers are resolved early, and creative talent is empowered to do their best work.
Key Responsibilities
- Support in setting post-production timelines.
- Manage amends requests to ensure they are being delegated to appropriate designers and turned around efficiently.
- Track project status, flag potential delays or resource clashes, and escalate as needed.
- Liaise daily with the Design team, the Production team and the Accounts team to keep all stakeholders aligned and informed.
- Coordinate freelance availability and ensure Float or other resourcing trackers are kept up to date.
- Check-in with the Design team to ensure progress is on track and workloads are balanced.
- Upload, label and archive digital assets following best-practice file management, and version control protocols.
- Review creative briefs to ensure accurate routing of work based on brief complexity, timing, and skillsets required
- Work with Production to ensure shoot files and final assets are delivered, tagged, and accessible
- Act as a central point of contact for cross-departmental coordination, using diplomacy and judgment to help solve problems and prioritize when things shift
- Help uphold agency process while being agile enough to support creative momentum and fast-paced delivery

Requirements:

- Comfortable working in a creative agency setting or keen to learn
- Familiarity with creative workflows and an understanding of how designers, copywriters, and producers work together
- Confident handling, archiving, and tracking digital assets
- Able to interpret and act on creative briefs
- A team player who’s adaptable, personable, and approachable
- Commercial awareness and basic budgeting knowledge a plus
- Experience with project or resourcing tools likeFloat, Asana or Ziflowa plus
- Understanding of the fast-paced nature of social content production
- Asense of humour—because let’s be real, production work can be chaos, and laughter is essential!
- Dog friendly! There are a lot of furry friends roaming around our office, so you’ll need to be OK working with our four-legged friends!
