A successful and expanding national property group is seeking an experienced property lawyer for an interim role to cover for the Head of Legal for 3 months starting in September.
The post holder will be responsible for heading up, developing and managing a team of legal professionals in addition to providing legal advice at board level. The work of the legal department is varied and covers:
- Lease extensions
- Enfranchisement
- Licences
- Sales
- Property litigation
- Finance
- General corporate and commercial issues
The candidate will have 8+ PQE handling residential property work, ideally with a solid private practice background. Sound management and leadership skills are essential to lead a busy team overseeing a variety of matters for a large property portfolio.
The successful candidate will also be expected to deal with the wider business, offering advice and guidance on a range of corporate and strategic matters. In return, a generous salary and benefits package will be offered to the successful candidate. The role will be office based for part of the week with flexible working arrangements.
