A well-established law firm is seeking a Clinical Negligence Solicitor to join its growing team in Greater Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Solicitor to handle a varied caseload of claimant clinical negligence matters within a supportive and collaborative environment.

The Opportunity

You will manage your own caseload of clinical negligence claims, acting on behalf of individuals pursuing claims against NHS Trusts, GPs, private consultants and other healthcare providers. The role offers exposure to a broad range of complex and rewarding work, alongside strong support, ongoing training and genuine opportunities for long term career progression.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing a caseload of claimant clinical negligence matters from inception to conclusion
  • Advising clients on the merits and progression of their claims
  • Investigating liability and quantum issues
  • Drafting legal documentation and correspondence
  • Liaising with medical experts, Counsel and third parties
  • Providing exceptional client care throughout the litigation process
  • Maintaining accurate case management records and progressing files efficiently

About You

  • Qualified Solicitor (or Equivalent) with a minimum of 3 years PQE
  • Experience handling claimant clinical negligence claims
  • Strong litigation and case management skills
  • Excellent communication and client care abilities
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Experience using Proclaim would be advantageous
