This specialist team is recognised for its expertise in residential leasehold management, enfranchisement, Right to Manage and building safety matters, advising a broad range of landlords, developers, housing providers, management companies and managing agents.
Due to continued growth and an increasing volume of instructions, the team is looking to appoint an experienced lawyer to play a key role in its ongoing development.
The Role
- You will advise on a broad range of residential property disputes matters including:
- Residential leasehold management disputes
- Service charge disputes
- Enfranchisement claims
- Right to Manage matters
- Forfeiture and possession proceedings
- Building Safety Act and remediation issues
- Residential landlord and tenant disputes
- Estate management disputes
- Rights of way, restrictive covenants and adverse possession matters
The team advises a diverse client base across the private, public and social housing sectors and is widely recognised as a market leader in this specialist area.
Alongside fee-earning responsibilities, you will supervise junior lawyers, develop client relationships and contribute to business development initiatives across the North West market.
About You
- Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales
- 5+ years' PQE in property litigation
- Strong experience in residential leasehold management matters
- Experience advising on enfranchisement and Right to Manage claims
- Excellent technical and drafting skills
- Experience supervising junior lawyers
- Commercially minded with strong client relationship skills
- An interest in business development and networking
