Your new role As Financial Controller, you will be supporting the whole organisation in managing the financial processes, controls and functions of the Foundation, including management of a small finance team and supporting the Finance Director with monthly management accounts and reports to the Joint Principals and Trustees.
You will also oversee the running of the nominal and subsidiary ledgers, online banking and other finance-related systems.
Please note, this role will be based full-time onsite with free parking available.
What you'll need to succeed You will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CIPFA) with proven skill in a finance leadership position.
Comfortable operating in both strategic and hands-on capacities, leading and developing finance staff, managing the year-end audit process, and ensuring the timely delivery of accurate financial reporting, and regulatory compliance activities.
The successful candidate will be a proactive and collaborative finance professional, capable of building strong relationships across the organisation and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
Strong communication skills, commercial awareness and a continuous improvement mindset.
