Property Litigation Solicitor
Luton - Leading regional firm - £58,000- £72,000 We are looking for a Property Litigation Solicitor (4-6 PQE) to join a highly regarded regional law firm with an established presence across Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire.
This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor looking to handle high-quality commercial and residential property disputes within a supportive, collaborative team.
You'll enjoy a varied caseload, direct client contact and genuine opportunities for career progression, working alongside experienced Partners on complex and rewarding matters.
The Role
You will manage your own caseload while supporting senior lawyers on more complex disputes, advising a broad client base that includes landlords, tenants, developers, investors and property owners.
Your work will include
- Commercial lease renewals under the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954
- Landlord and tenant disputes
- Possession proceedings and forfeiture
- Rent recovery, service charge and dilapidations disputes
- Break notices and breach of covenant matters
- Easements, restrictive covenants and rights of way
- Advising clients on dispute resolution strategies, including negotiation, mediation and litigation where appropriate
- Working closely with Counsel, surveyors and other professional advisers
Who You Are
The successful candidate will have
- Qualified Solicitor with 4–6 years' PQE in Property Litigation
- Experience handling a broad range of commercial and residential property disputes
- Strong technical and drafting skills
- Excellent client relationship and communication abilities
- The confidence to manage a varied caseload with minimal supervision
- A commercial, proactive and solutions-focused approach
- An interest in contributing to business development and building long-term client relationships
