A leading PE-backed professional services business is seeking an ACA/ACCA qualified Financial Accountant to support a critical reporting and finance transformation project directly with the Director of Accounting. You'll join a high-performing international finance team at a time of significant change, helping to improve reporting processes, strengthen controls and deliver key finance initiatives across a complex multi-entity environment.
This is a hands-on role combining technical accounting, financial reporting and finance transformation. You will:
- Support the delivery of statutory accounts and financial reporting activities
- Analyse and interpret large financial datasets using Excel and finance systems
- Perform balance sheet reviews, reconciliations and investigation work
- Identify reporting issues and drive resolutions through to completion
- Support accounting policy, process improvement and control enhancement projects
- Work closely with finance leadership and international stakeholders to improve reporting quality and governance
- Play a key role in finance transformation initiatives and systems-led change
What you'll need to succeed:
- ACA or ACCA qualified
- Big 4 or Top 10 audit-trained background preferred
- Strong IFRS and financial reporting knowledge
- Experience preparing statutory accounts and supporting audits
- Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical ability
- A proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and deliver under pressure
- Immediately available or available at short notice
